Great Clips

After walking into the great clips by winco at 4:30 pm on a Sunday May 18th 2025 and being told they had a 38 minute wait and we couldn’t join the wait list by two very rude employees that made us feel very unwelcome and me telling them we were there before 5 and we should be able to have haircuts done they then finally said what’s your name we turned around and walked out and went to the location by Fred Meyer. I asked if we could be added to their list and they said of course. There were two online check-ins before us so I then asked if we waited for them and didn’t get haircuts by 5 would we be turned away? They said you’re here before 5 so you WILL get cuts! I then explained what we were just told by the other location and they let us know that it is great clips policy that if we were there before closing we would get cuts. The whole time the ladies there were fun professional and made us feel welcome! We will be returning to the Fred Meyer location! Thank for your amazing service ladies!

My hairstylist, bless their heart because I forgot their name, was the SWEETEST person I've ever met when getting my hair cut. I have different needs when it comes to my haircuts because I work fast food and I also have sensory issues that get in the way of everyday life. I'm currently growing out my hair and it's a nightmare to try and do anything, because it's too short to put up, but too long to keep it out of my face and out of the way. I came in on 9-16-24 around 4pm, and (again, I wish I remembered their name, but they had short, purple, dyed hair and a gorgeous smile) my stylist sat me down and talked me through some options. I explained my special needs and they took the time to listen and come up with a solution that both looked good and helped my sensory issues, and I LOVED the end result. I usually end up only mildly liking my haircuts or end up trying to fix it up myself, but this is the first time in many years I've actually had the experience of going home with both a good haircut, and a fabulous experience. To the stylist, I cannot thank you enough. I know it may seem silly, that I'm so moved by you simply cutting my hair, but it has been such a big struggle lately and you listened to the problems it was causing and worked with me towards a solution. Thank you SO much, you deserve so much more than a raise, because you've made a huge impact on my life right now.

Would be great if you could ever get your hair cut in a remotely timely manner. The stylists will tell you, " oh just use our app " but I can 100 % GUARANTEE you that it won't expedite your hair care experience. You can use the app and be next up and STILL end up waiting because this place big-time overlooks and everyone else, like you are also using the app so even with an appt you still get logjammed and end up waiting at least 30 minutes ( or more ) past your scheduled time you set up on your app. Not cool. The price for the haircut is reasonable but this places never has more than 2 stylists working.

Well it's been 1 week since I got my haircut... all I can is wow!!! This was my second time and I've been using the same hair stylist in Rexburg the last 3 years. As luck would have it I went to this great clips location and it was Sunday and they were kind of busy. The Hair Stylist who cut my hair the first time was Julia and I was kind of nervous but she was awesome and made me feel at ease. My second time was with Julia again and she is truly amazing and passionate about her work. The overall atmosphere,the quality of service and my absolutely fantastic haircut is why I'm giving this Great Clips a 5 star rating😎

Over the years I have visited dozens of Great Clips and have settled in with this location for the past 15 years due to their consistency with professionalism and customer service. Special recognition to Elisa who has been my stylist for 15 years and is always so kind, efficient and always cuts and styles my hair perfectly. Also, while she hasn’t cut or styled my hair personally, Hailey has done a great job for many family members of mine and is also at this GC Location. You’ll have to go and see for yourself!

The girls are helpful and friendly,they easily guided me through the app.and gave me a fast haircut that I like. This was my first time going to great clips,this is my new haircut spot.

I've always liked this place. I have two stylist that I prefer for my children but every now and then when they're not there I've used others. Everyone has been great and wonderful except one. The stylist oh, Jamie, with blue hair. I took my son in to have a haircut from her in a hurry one day. When she was done I noticed the line on the side needed straightened out. when I asked her to just touch that spot one more time she immediately got rude and told me what do I know I've only been doing here for six years. I said yes but you've only done his hair once. There was no need for her attitude or behavior. Other than that, we love all the stylist and this location. Especially Tess and Jen!!!

Elisa is the reason I give 5 stars. She is the only one I will let cut my hair. She is great with my Aline cut and thinning my hair. Also several staff are so careful and caring when cutting my little who has Autism.
