This is the 2nd time I’ve gone to this salon. Different stylist. I wanted an icier blond and somehow my hair ended up darker. I just said pleasantries and left bc I don’t think it was in her skill set to fix. Very disappointed. I will not go back. First picture is what I wanted second is what I walked out with. My hair is still brassy and yellow.

Good service, but terrible haircut. Took my son to get his hair cut because our regular lady is not open on the weekend. $30 later, his haircut is uneven, his ear was nicked, and we still have to go to his regular lady to get his hair fixed. I get it, the girl may have been new… but dang, for the price it should have been perfect.

I’ve gone to Cost Cutters Altoona off and on for most of my life and it’ll always be one of my favorite places to go. Quick, quality services and friendly staff. Sara cut my hair for the second time and once again did an amazing job!! She’s a sweetheart and makes sure you’re getting done exactly what you want done.

I got my hair cut today. I asked for them to cut all the length off and make it short. Even gave them an inspiration photo. The one girl started to cut, then stopped, and started asking questions to other hair stylists in the salon. The other hairstylist set me in her chair and did the shape really well but when I got home … my curls wouldn’t curl they were just frizzy. I tried hair masks, finger coiled it, diffused with cool air, put lots of water but no matter what I did my curls are GONE. Idk if was a product they used, the shampoo or conditioner, but my curls are GONE LITERALLY GONE.

My daughter's hair came out great....mine not so much. I didnt get it styled before I left bc I was gonna dye it when I got home but when it fully dried it was nothing of what I asked for. I've never had issues with this place till today. It was shorter than what I asked. I wanted shorter layers and only got somewhat layers in the back.. barely a difference. Again no consistency in the layers and non at all in the front. Bangs turned out horribly.... hair is uneven from left to right/back to front and I also have pieces that are longer than others just random throughout. I couldn't really tell till it fully dried after I got home and tried to style bc it looked off. Soooo upset especially since it was someone filling in from hollidaysburg. Going back tomorrow to get a refund bc this is bs
