Had the most AMAZING experience at Rockit Hair Studio. After 18 years of having the same person cut/style my hair, Scarlett knocked my new cut out of the ballpark! I couldn’t be happier! The vibe of the salon is so much fun and the staff is incredible. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Stylist was pleasant but didn't know how to do shorter alt cuts. That's what made me seek out this salon in the first place. It was disappointing since my partner's daughters had gone to her (although for longer, more traditional, basic cuts). She tried to gaslight me that the resulting cut was like the pics I brought when it was ENTIRELY different, leaving me practically bald. I've never cried after a haircut.... but at least she didn't charge, I guess?

I had such an amazing experience at Rock It Hair Studio! Scarlett is a true artist—she gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had, and the highlights and lowlights came out perfectly. My color looks so natural and dimensional, and the cut brought everything together beautifully. I have been going to Scarlett for about a year now, after seeing my friend's hair cut. I asked her where she got it done and she referred me to Scarlett. I asked her to do fox hair color for me and she did an amazing job! Then I found out about calico hair color and showed her a picture that I liked and she nailed it! Her cuts are amazing! I am an '80s rocker chick, and I had a heck of a time trying to find someone who could layer my hair and texturize it the way I like it! And once again Scarlett killed it!!! Can't recommend her enough!!!

Molly did my nails and did an AMAAAZZINNNGGGGG job. Atmosphere was clean and super friendly:) 10/10 would def come again. Am happy. Molly slay.

I knew Scarlett was right for me because she looked at my face and knew what hair length and style fit me best. I’ve been going to her since and recommending her to everyone I can. I know she’s also reputable for coloring hair but I’ve never had that done.

I asked for an A line bob. I don’t think I got it. I also asked to have long to medium length in the front, this is short for an A-line imo. This was after my stylist, Scarlet, and I agreed to a 12 pm appointment. I texted her that morning to confirm and she said she booked me for 12:15. Ok fine…. But why did I still have to wait for her to arrive at 12:48?? She said I could go back to have it fixed…. But to would mean shorter and jeopardized hair… no thanks Response to owner: I didn’t intent to tip. You kept my change. And I felt bad asking for my change. I expressed how I felt about it and it’s the same as this review. This isn’t an A-line bob. My hair wasn’t washed until 12:40. I was wondering how it had passed which is why I know it was 12:48. She ARRIVED AT 12:48. Stop misleading what actually happened.

Rod is the best hairstylist, I’ve ever had. I have been getting my hair done by him for years and I can proudly say I love my hair every time he does it. It grows out beautifully and he truly listens to what you want. Definitely recommend going to him!

Scarlett’s amazing and does an excellent job every time I see her. She makes me feel like a million dollars. She amazing with radical colors. My favorite is the old school round brush blow out. I highly recommend 10/10.

Ive never once had a bad experience here. The vibe is amazing, they offer snacks while you are getting your service, and they are very talented. Mariel has done my hair twice now and I always walk out happy with my hair! While it is on the pricey side, it is 100% worth it. This salon is my favorite in abq!!
