I’ve been going to LeQuetta as my hairdresser for over five years now. She’s flexible with her appointment as she works with my night schedule and I often go to her after I am done with my shift. I have black hair and it usually takes 6 to 8 hours to dye my hair to the colour I would like it to be. As you can see, she does a fantastic job with the cut and colour of my hair. Her prices are reasonable. I’ve tried a variety of colors ranging from purple to teal & I haven’t been disappointed. For those of you that are wanting to try a different color, e.g. purple, pink, make sure you book a consultation with her first so that she can help you plan out what’s the best way to colour your hair. The shop also has other hairdressers that do a variety of braids , wigs, & cut also.

Claudia took my daughter as a walk in, we didn’t have to wait long. We were undecided on what style to go for but she used her skills and did a cute style! I like stylist who are gentle and quick! We will be regular customers from now on! Thank you Claudia! 💕Also the salon is very inviting with a vending machine, free snacks, coffee and music!

Momo was so quick with my knotless braids! She was gentle and efficient. She was extremely polite and nice and I would go back to her. Lequetta was also amazing with my trim and eyebrow waxing. I enjoyed my experience with her, and she was all smiles. Both ladies were pleasant and I recommend both!

I had a wonderful experience at Alizah's Hair Salon! The stylists are so sweet and welcoming, and I appreciate that there always seems to be someone available when I need an appointment. I especially loved the silk press I received a few months ago - it looked lovely and lasted a whole week! Highly recommend.

I've come here to get my daughters hair done and everytime I come, I'm left speechless. She gets my daughters hair done in a timely manner and my daughter always has a huge smile on her face after the fact. I love it. She really does an excellent job, very professional and she engages with my daughter as well.

I decided to walk in to get my hair washed, treatment, blow dry and I wanted a trim. If you decided to walk in…. DON’T. They say they accept walk ins then treat you like a burden when you do. So I got my hair washed and before washing the lady was YANKING my hair to comb it, I told her it was easier to detangle if she wets it because I have natural curly hair, she told me no she has to do that first….. so that should have been my first sign to just leave. If I knew I had to come detangled to a salon I would have. Second, she was SCRUBBING my head so hard I had to tell her it was hurting. After that I got a blow dry and she told me I was done. I said I also wanted a trim, so they told me I had to wait for that. I waited because I really did want my hair trim because I was getting braids. I already go the service of washing and blow drying so why leave. I waited for over 45 mins. When it was finally my turn to get a trim she literally just cut it any way. My hair is uneven and trimmed/cut terribly. It was not the salon experience I been yearning for. I would advice making a appointment even tho they “accept walk ins” and honestly if you are not African they will not be friendly or welcoming to you. I would never go back to this place for ANY services. I was so disappointed. I wasn’t gonna leave a review but I keep trying to do my hair a style and way and it looks horrible.

My experience at Alizah's hair salon was not a good one my stylist was very rude and unprofessional, was very rough in washing and styling my hair I would not recommend a dog to them. I also was over charged People always say African American people should support black owned businesses, well this is why because some of them like this salon are ignorant and don't know how to treat people. I will pray for them because they are truly ignorant to the word of God. He sees how you treat people and he is not pleased. You will answer to him one day for your behavior. I showed her a pic on how I wanted my hair & usually stylist don’t ever get every detail but Claudia she did an excellent job with every detail in the pic I wanted.
