They did a great job with my daughters’ nails for homecoming. This is our 2nd time here and it’ll definitely be our “go-to” for nails in the future.
I had to come in here again and just say "all these years later" and I STILL give this place a 5 star!! They have the BEST ambiance, it's luxury!! And Lee absolutely NEVER FAILS on her nail suggestions and does a phenomenal job!!
I called this morning to see if any walk-ins were available for two pedicures, and the lady I spoke with said not for an hour. After confirming an appointment for two pedicures at 12:30pm under my name, we waited the hour out by running errands and then arrived at Nails Spa and checked in via kiosk 5 min early. There were several clients receiving services and three other people in the waiting area when we arrived, so we sat and were fine being patient and waiting. We ended up sitting 15 min in the waiting area before we were called back to the pedicure seats. Water was started for us and we sat and soaked our feet, in preparation for an employee to be available. We ended up waiting over 35 minutes before deciding to leave without continuing service. The only reason we waited that long was because we were conversing and trying to be understanding. During the 15 min in the waiting area and the 35 min in the pedicure seats, no one checked on us or communicated there might be delays. We were noticing clients getting in and out of the pedicure chairs nearby while we waited with our feet soaking. When we decided to leave and were putting our shoes on, one of the staff members came over and asked us to wait and that he would get started on us immediately. He was midway through another client's pedicure though, so I'm not sure how that was supposed to work timing-wise. We declined and left. As we were walking out, I received a text with a link requesting we leave a review about our experience. This was our first time at this nail salon and we won't be returning. I understand balancing appointments and walk-ins can be tough, but ultimately, it is on the manager/owner of the salon to not overextend staff resources and it is the owner/manager's responsibility to ensure staff communicates when delays are occurring instead of ignoring clients and hoping the client remains patient.
So the gentleman that did my pedi was nice and gentle. I had a gash on my leg but it didn't hurt while he scrubbed them or put lotion on. He was good at cutting my toe nails and not aggressive like some places. I have soft nails and ingrown toe nails but he did great. The 4 stars is because of whatever stuff they put in a baggie and you stick your foot in was very hot. Under scalding but it's a good thing I can take heat. He asked if it was too hot after my feet were in and I said yes. He said it will cool down quick. It did NOT cool down quick. I just got used to the heat. But almost the whole time was it hot. I also wasn't aware they charged a dollar for using a card. These places are making a killing off people because it doesn't cost them that much. I would definitely go back. I just wouldn't get the standard pedi. I would get the basic. I do like the music they have. Makes it for a relaxing time.
I can’t say I would recommend this place, I’ve went twice the first time I went I tried to explain the design I wanted and she kept telling me she did not want to see it but right after would need to see it. I was talked to very harshly and both times when showing the worker my phone she hit my hand out of the way. While my nails didn’t look that bad the first time I’m very disappointed in my nails this time. They smudged a part of my nails and when I requested they got rid of it they added more polish to it making it chunky and not what I had in mind at all. Shall I go on…🙁
My nails always look wonderful when I leave and there’s so many colors to choose from that’s the hardest part.
I don’t usually do a review like this but I just had to. I went to get a manicure and pedicure and loved my pedicure. When it came to the manicure I was pretty disappointed as I asked if the design I wanted to do would be possible in which they told me yes. The gentleman who did my manicure asked me several times if I wanted to do dip and I responded with yes, but still ended up getting a gel manicure. The whole process also seemed rushed and I left the salon very disappointed and even tried explaining that to them when they just got even more upset with me. The acrylic put on my nails is very uneven and in some spots even look chipped and some spots of the blue you can see through to the base layer. I will definitely not be returning for a manicure here but my pedicure looks excellent which is why I’m giving three stars. (Inspo picture is the pink the other are my nails which the photo doesn’t show how bad it truly is)
I've been going for years but noticed every few months, they jack up the price for the regular services I've always gotten. This last time was $97 for a 5 minute color change on my toes and a fill in. Way too expensive! They do nice work but I'll be researching other options.
It was okay wasn’t the best. My nails looked fine but when I left I noticed one hand had longer nails then the other hand and the design I wanted the person could of took more time it seemed rushed and it doesn’t look like the picture. And I was told it was 45 and I got charged more then 45
Wow. All I can say is don’t waste your time or money. I came here for a pedicure and a GelX set… the pedicure was fine. The issue came getting to the GelX. I guess the girl didn’t understand what I was asking for the 3 times I said I wanted GelX. So she started prepping for acrylic. I told her I didn’t want acrylic. She then is very rude and gets someone else who tries to talk me into doing something else. I tell them if they can’t do the GelX that I asked for 3 times then I would just do gel polish. This very clearly pissed her off. (She’s a girl with a mole on her face right between her nose and lip, right side of the face) So she then very quickly with just throws the gel on my nail, doesn’t ask me what colors or let me pick, just asks me what one I was thinking and picks for me. Then doesn’t cut my cuticles, doesn’t do anything as far as true manicure prep… Well I could’ve done gel polish at home without prep so why did I even come at this point and then getting charged when she didn’t clean up my cuticles or anything? Yeah no. I’ll be following up with that. That’s not good customer service to be rude and half ass your service when you had misunderstood what a customer was asking for. Don’t waste the time coming here and I do not recommend. My mom expressed she had stopped coming here previously because that girl was rude. We will take our business elsewhere. Shame on you!
