Fidele Professional Hair Braiding

Ms. Fidele is wonderful! I was looking for a place to get my teenage son's hair braided. He's been growing it out for a long time, and has never had braids before. I was able to get an appointment to come in within 2 days. He had an image of some stitch braids he wanted done that he had found online. Ms. Fidele did an amazing job! Her prices were fair, and the time it took was faster than expected. We will definitely be back!

I've been going to Fidele for my braids for a little bit now and she always does a phenomenal job. Decided to get my hair loc’d and she did not disappoint! I absolutely recommend choosing Fidele as your loctician or any of your other hair needs, she's honestly amazing!

I attempted to book with this Loc Artist so that my fiancé could get his locs washed, retwisted and styled. I sent pictures of his hair, and stated that his hair was very overgrown, even to the point that some of the locs might need to be fixed. She told me it would be $120 to wash and retwist, and an extra $20 for the style. After I sent the deposit I sent her close up pictures of my fiancé’s hair so she could see the overgrowth more clearly. It was at this point that she became irritated with me stating that the pictures I sent were different from what I originally sent her// when she knew full well that his hair was in poor condition and needed to be redone desperately. Suddenly she could no longer tell me an exact price.. not even an estimate or a quote, nothing… until she washed his hair, and then I could “easily go to an ATM and just grab more money ..right?” Generally speaking money isn’t an issue here and I would’ve tipped her generously, but in the end I cancelled with this lady because she was trying to finesse me & take advantage of my kindness. She did return the deposit, even though I told her she could keep it- but be careful of this lady and her sneaky practices.

Fast and friendly service and affordable prices...she checked with me throughout the service to make sure the braids weren't too tight and that I was satisfied with the size. My hair looks great!

One of the worst African shop I ever been to. The owner is rude and very unreasonable. I asked her for a specific style and she did pretty much whatever she wanted to do. She didn’t follow directions at all. I do not recommend this place.

Fidele has maintained my sisterlocks for years and I love the care ahe provides. As a transfer client she has done her thing. My reties are always clean and long lasting. If you are in the Springfield area wanting to get your sisterocks or microlos established or maintained check out Fidele. The good reviews on her page were the reason I decided to come see her for my vacation hair. I loved that she texted me to let me know she was running behind and asked if I could come later. She was nice and patient with me while figuring out what hair to use. I've had this hair style twice now and I can say this time around they looked more neatly placed. It's been two weeks and this hair is still low key tight lol. I will be back for my next set of braids
